You may reschedule your computer-based testing appointment using the Prometric scheduling tool. You must make changes prior to published deadlines. Please contact the NBCE at 800-964-6223 or support@nbce.org to discuss withdrawal options. After published deadlines, you may not make any changes to your appointment and the NBCE will issue no refunds.

In the event of an Administrative Irregularity, the NBCE reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or interrupt examination administrations, withhold the reporting of scores, and/or to require the re-administration of an examination.
Administrative Irregularities include, without limit: weather events, natural disasters (e.g., hurricanes, floods, snowstorms, mudslides, tornados, earthquakes, fires), power failures, Internet outages, network outages, health, safety, or welfare concerns or emergencies, civil unrest, technology malfunctions, heating, ventilation or air conditioning problems, general test site facility problems, or any other event beyond the control of the NBCE or Prometric which, in the sole discretion of the NBCE, could substantially interfere with examination administration or affect the validity of examination scores.

Scheduling Tips:
-Scheduling closes 17 days before each test date at 4pm (Mountain Time).
-Opt for the earliest available time to facilitate scheduling multiple appointments in a day.
-Ensure there are no overlaps or conflicts when booking multiple exams for the same day.
-Difficulty finding an appointment? Consider looking at the next month or explore locations with more testing centers, particularly in major metropolitan areas.
-It may be necessary to look two to three months ahead for the most convenient testing location.
-You retain the ability to schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments up to 17 days prior to the scheduled test date.
