Creating Accounts

When you create an account, the NBCE uses your unique reference number and date of birth to match your MyNBCE account to our records.

Email Addresses

When you create your account, we collect your e-mail address. This information is used solely for the purpose of contacting you regarding your account. We do not share e-mail addresses or any other personal information stored on this site.

Online Applications

All of the information you submit on an application is transmitted via a secure Internet connection. The NBCE does not share any of the information supplied on applications.

Scores and Transcripts

The NBCE releases a report of an examinee’s scores from each examination to an authorized representative of their college or school. This report will include the examinee’s name, ID number, date of birth, graduation date, exam status, and scores. Otherwise, your NBCE scores are strictly confidential.

Scores are provided on MyNBCE approximately six weeks after an examination administration. The NBCE does not release scores over the telephone or by fax. Transcripts will not be released without the written authorization of the examinee. Subject to varying state regulations, the NBCE releases transcripts of the examinee’s most recent scores only. MyNBCE contains links to the NBCE transcript request form.
